THREE RIVERS DISTRICT
Thank you to all of instructors and participants that attended our first Boy Scout Leader Specific Training as the Three Rivers District. We had a wonderful time and also worked on our Greater Alabama Council Youth Impact Plan to have every adult leader trained before the end of the year.
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the District Committee Meeting this coming Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 6:30pm at St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Classroom C. Your support is needed in order to plan our events, activities, and improve the quality of our scouting program. Remember, you do not have to be a committee chairman to come and be a part of the committee meeting.

Centennial Quality Unit Forms – Thank you to all of the units that have taken the time to complete your annual Quality Unit Form. This is very important because you have the opportunity to think about your community, families, and come up with your goals. If you have not done this, please contact Brian Wilson at bwilson@1bsa.org. The form is located on the district website at http://northeast.1bsa.org along with any information that you may need about scouting.

Camping – Greg Moore
The deadline to register for the Centennial Camporee without a late fee has already passed, but you still have the unique opportunity to be a part of history. Come out and help us celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scouting. This will be one of the biggest events in the Greater Alabama Council for 2010.
Q. Scout Leaders: What will we do different than a normal District Camporee?
